The short answer is it didn’t.

Leafeon’s a perfect breed between a cat and a plant, perfectly adaptable to each season (and gorgeous in each four) and can be modified by changing the plant it’s based upon. Cactus leafeon ? Lovely. Cherry blossom leafeon ? Adorable. Dandelion leafeon ? I live for it. And its shiny form is basically the same so it means it’s a perfect little one already.

OMG YES!!!!!!!!! I love the concept of different plant Leafeons, and I love his leaves changing color in the fall. Also that’s a good way to describe one of the ways I adore him. Leafeon is a cat plant. That’s perfection.
